Amazon recently changed the security requirements related to public AMIs. The JMeter in the Cloud AMIs are in need of overhaul due to these changes. AWS reclassified them as private AMIs. You will not be able to access them / we will not be able to share them until the overhaul is completed.Due to limited resources this will take some time.
We will inform you and distribute the new AMI IDs as soon as the work is completed.
Please do not hesitate to contact us in case this causes real harm to you. As a workaround we can add your amazon owner id to the ami whitelist upon request.

ami-1715fe7e : Linux based AMI with jmeter 2.3.4. Recommended version.ami-0cf21065 : Linux based AMI with jmeter 2.3.4. No longer supported.
Region EU-WEST-1
ami-5f13252b : Linux based AMI with jmeter 2.4.Other regions
There are currently no plans to support AMIs in other regions. This is just a question of limited resources. In case your life depends on having an AMI in another region please contact IT Beratung Jörg Kalsbach.Any additional feature requests will be carefully considered.
